Non-Ferrous Metals

The recovery of metals is the gold standard in waste processing. Metal recycling is to the highest degree efficient with regard to energy and resources. Recycling of non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum and zinc saves Germany approximately 8.4 tons of energy-dependent emissions per year and reduces its nationwide annual carbon-dioxide discharges by about one percent.

In metal recovery, valuable metals contained in wastes are separated from pollutants, processed and returned to the recycling economy as secondary raw materials.

DELA GmbH particularly processes chemical industry and petrochemistry wastes containing non-ferrous metals in a revolving kiln, removing typical contaminants like hydrocarbons, sulfur and mercury.
