Health & safety practised actively

Anyone who wants to act responsibly, especially if handling hazardous substances such as mercury, needs special know-how which is why all the staff at DELA GmbH receive regular instruction and training in safety issues that are relevant for their work. Briefings and compliance with the safety regulations are a matter of course for our staff and are a part of the active health & safety system in place at DELA GmbH. There are also external safety officers available that act as competent contact partners within the company.

Safe equipment

The plant and equipment used at Dela GmbH to recycle mercury and other non-ferrous metals take into consideration the risk potential of the substances used and are always operated at under-pressure or under vacuum without exception. This securely prevents any dust or other hazardous substances from being released. Also, the air in the hall is continuously extracted. All exhaust air streams are fed to a central dust and active carbon filter for cleaning. The success of these measures is checked and documented by means of regular measurements at the workplace.
